I remember when you first released this track. I like what you've done with it. But, I feel like part of what made the old version so unique is how it worked as a fusion between liquid and neuro-- and while those aspects may still be present in some capacity, the extra bass modulation and whatnot detracts away from that liquid feel.

Overall though, great track. I like what you've done with this a bunch. Keep it up!

jpbear responds:

yea the extra alive basses detach it from the rest of the track a bit more.

thanks for following all this time :)

Chill.

Bruh.

I feel like there needs a slight bit more movement to it, but other than that, its good for what it is. Reminds me a lot of SNES music.

SkyeWint responds:

It is chill. I'll agree with you on that, man. For the movement thing, it isn't intended to be an overly fast-paced song, or even to be much more than what you said. "Chill".

Suggestions

Beat comes in abruptly. Volume levels are a bit off. Too much high frequencies. Too many inconsistent rhythm changes.

WOooo

Awesome track. Only complaint is to make the bass harder with more umph. Other than that, this song is awesome.

LucidSpore responds:

Yeah, there was only one bass. No sub bass or anything. =] Hehe i have many many thoughts for this tune because i love the composition. so thanks for the feed back it stands out more when others actually tell me, and or us. So yeah thanks =]

Good, but..

I'd actually tweak the bass sound a bit. I think the song would be generally better if you could hear more of the piano in the background. The way that the bass is in the mix, is so overpowering that it mostly drowns out the background piano-- this in turn, detracts from the track as the Silent Hill theme is known for being very beautiful in the eerie way. By cutting out the piano, it detracts from what makes that song so well known.

As per usual, pretty good. My only complaint is that the bass doesnt seem as in your face it could be.

Other than that though, spectacular job.

Aydin-Jewelz123 responds:

Cheers for the review, ye I'm gonna try spending more time on the mixing when I get the time!

Amazing

Normally Im not into trance because it all sounds the same, but I really love the sound you've got going on here. It feels like a mix between the movement of a good house music song and the emotion of anthem trance.

Keep it up.

Bahdshah responds:

thanks bro! :)

Okay but...

I really like the drums and orchestral you have going on, as well as the dark and ominous feel. However, it just seems like its lacking motion. The chanting noises also are kind of annoying too. My recommendation would be to add a little bit of attack to the filter cutoff or something to not make them so weird sounding.

Ill be interested to see where you go with this.
Cheers,

?!!!??!!!

Pwnage. 'Nuff said.

Bliss

Absolutely beautiful.

What people dont seem to generally realize, is if you listen to the tone of "chipmunk" voice, it appears to change with the melody-- although, its actually remaining the same loop. This, in turn, gives the song the feel of change as there's more contrast.

Overall though, this is one of the best house songs I've heard on here in awhile. Keep it up.
